Uplifting week for Christadelphian Refugees and friends living in exile in Sri Lanka
All Christadelphian refugees and their friends who are living in Sri Lanka, were part of a six day long Bible School from March 10-15, 2014. The theme of the Bible School was,
"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden”(Matthew 5:14)
Bro Tim Galbraith and Bro Ken Chalmers presented a series of five and six talks on “light and Darkness in the Bible and “Letter to the Philippians” respectively. Two Refugee Brethren presented 10 studies on first principles to the friends.
Two friends, who have studied the truth for two years, become “Brothers of Jesus Christ” after getting baptized by Bro Tim Galbraith in the presence of several other faithful witnesses on sixth day of the Bible School.
The Bible School ended up with a very interesting exhortation by Bro Tim based on Psalms 128-130 after a hand of fellowship to the new brothers and sharing of Bread and Wine.
We thank God for this wonderful uplifting and blessed time and the opportunity enjoying a warm fellowship with other brothers and sisters. We believe that the day is not very far away that our Lord returns on earth and place us in His Father's glorious kingdom and bless us with marvelous fellowship with other immortals.
He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen. (Rev 22:21-22)
The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the outcasts of Israel .(Psalms 147:2)
